In the heart of Cardinals country, one diehard Cubs fan dares to stand out and give back. Beth Boggs isn’t just wearing blue at Busch Stadium, she’s rewriting what it means to be a fan. It all started with a gift.
During the 2011 World Series, Beth Boggs and her late husband, Darin, were handed four golden tickets.
They already had their regular seats in Section 168, so they sold the prized passes for $16,000—
and used every penny to create magic for the fans around them. Today, the tradition continues with souvenirs as precious as autographed baseballs to plush, stuffed Fredbirds and Cardinals from Build-A-Bear.
